Massage Therapists – taken the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards test yet?
Mblex? If so, do you have any thoughts, opinions or words of advice prior to taken it?
Also I see how National Cert is misleading. Why is it called A National test when practically every state has different requirements, and every school teaches differently?
Most states require the national cert test in addition to their own requirements. In VA, I had to have 500 hours of schooling (different from state to state), the national certification test and apply for certification through the VA board of nursing. If I were to move to another state, the national cert test that I took would still fulfill that requirement and I would simply have to convert my license to my new state providing I don’t have to complete any additional school hours.
